______________________________________________________________ The ABA is one of the fastest growing men's adult baseball leagues in NJ! We are also the largest recreational baseball league in NJ. We had 200 baseball teams in our 2012 leagues along with multiple wood bat skill levels in addition to our multiple metal divisions. We also gave out 300+ free agent players to teams in 2012!!! --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- In 2012 we had 200 teams in our Spring, Summer, and Fall seasons. We will again have multiple skill level wood and metal leagues in both northern and central NJ. Included in our spring fees are our strong customer service & flexible master scheduling, 20 game schedule, large free agent player pool, 6 dozen Wilson baseballs, field insurance, accidental medical insurance, website for stats & schedules, multiple wood & metal bat skill levels, equipment discounts, umpire assigning, All Star Game, jackets or trophies for championship winners. Here are the Spring 2013 - 20 game season team payment options: *Spring season runs April - July with August playoffs. We can also accommodate late starting college player or college student based teams in any skill level 1. Pay a team deposit in early Feb, another payment in March, and your balance in April: with field slots - $2000 fee** without a field - $2500 fee** **any balances carried past April 30th will incur $50 late charge per month late 2. Pay your team fee in full by 3/31 (with a deposit in early Feb...this is a must) and receive $100 off the $2000 'with field' slots fee ($1900 total) or 'without a field' fee ($2400 total) 3. Pay your full discounted 'with field slots team fee' of $1800 by 2/28 and get all your games at home for when you have your field guaranteed. 4. Spring season free agent player fee is $160 per player Summer and Fall season - 12 game leagues - are $1000 with field slots ($900 if paid early) or $1200 without ($1100 if paid early) Summer season runs June-July with August playoffs *(Pay Early by 5/25 and receive $100 off your fee) Fall season runs Sept-Oct with Nov playoffs *(Pay Early by 8/25 and receive $100 off your fee) Summer & Fall season free agent player fee is $80

Amateur Baseball Association, Inc. is a recreational baseball league originating in New Jersey. Baseball players, teams, and managers are all welcome. If you love playing baseball and are 18 years of age or older, this is the league for you. All skill levels and all positions are welcome. Metal and/or wood bats may be used as we have metal only as well as wood only divisions. We are a weekend league that plays primarily on Sundays but there may be Saturday and weeknight games due to weather or field availability. Teams in each state will play in regional divisions. We are not affiliated with any other baseball league. We at ABA, Inc. pride ourselves on customer service. We will always return all phone calls and emails within 24 hrs of receipt. We are active participants in the league and we will be accessible for all questions and/or comments. Our league officers play on teams in the league and we are advocates for fair play. We are focused on managers’ and players’ baseball needs and it is our mission to improve the quality of baseball life and services for all involved. We have an incentive based fee schedule for teams. In the past we have played in leagues where teams with a home field have had to pay the same fee as teams who didn’t have one. So teams with home fields were penalized because they had to pay the league fee and permit fees. We thought that wasn’t very fair. So we have 2 different fees, one if you have a field and one if you don’t. Team league fees also include 6dz game baseballs for Spring season or 3dz for Summer & Fall seasons, field insurance, and unlimited rosters. Umpire fees are NOT included in the team league fee. Please contact the league for payment schedule. As an individual player joining the league we will either place you with an existing team or create a new team by combining other individual players. If you have friends that also want to join and play on the same team as you, we can combine all of you into a 'package' and place your 'package' on the same team. Our individual player fee is $180 per player for the Spring season and $80 for Summer or Fall seasons. Umpire fees are not included in the individual player fee. **However, if you have a home field that a new team can use, we can build a new team around you and you will get the individual player fee reimbursed to you as a thank you for the use of the field. **If you have a field that the league can use, we will reimburse you the individual player fee for every year that the league uses the field.

Due to lack of fields, the league cannot guarantee a team or a player who does not have a field a spot in the league. However, most players and teams will be accepted and we will try our best to find a spot in the league for all applicants as well as secure enough fields for play. Players may choose to play in more than one season in any given year. There will be separate season fees charged. Players may also choose to play on several teams in any one season. However, there will be a league fee charged to the player per each team the player chooses to play on. Also, there may be league rules that can be applied to a player playing for several different teams in one season to allow for fair play. All registration fees are non-refundable once the season begins. If you can acquire a field for the ABA to use as a league field we will reduce your team fee by $100.
