Welcome to the home of the Jersey Blue Jays! A brief history... Founded in late 2009 the Jersey Jays finished up their inaugural 2010 season with a 10-9-1 record before falling to the eventual champions, the Raritan Valley Indians. While they fell short of goals, the Jays were a young team with growth on the way. The following season the crew had a strong showing in the league as they finished 15-5 which landed them as the #2 seed in the playoffs. With some new talent via free agency the Jays defeated the Rockies in round one, and bested the rival Dumont Knights in the semi final match up. Unfortunately the run ended in the title game as the Jays fell to the NJ Swingmen. While disappointed, the team was hungrier than ever With the 2012 ABA season upon us the Jays look to take the next step to greatness by bringing the championship home. The team has a strong nucleus of players on a balanced roster that offers patience and discipline from top to bottom as well as powerful bats and speed on the bases.
