Welcome to the 2011 Spring Season home of the New Jersey Marlins. Managed by Victor DaSilva, the Marlins are poised to overcome a disspointing playoff loss last year. With that said, after new additions of Chris Pares, Joe Murin, Marc Cintron, Breyden Ortiz, Perdo Ruiz, Danilo Noriega, and Manny Fonseca, the crew formerly known as the Athletics have become a deeper pitching team and well balanced defensive team. Not to mention of course returning is walk machine Braulio Montesino, hitting king Andrew Thoelen, and of course the 2010 Team MVP Onix Ortiz. With this new team assembled the Marlins expect to be in the championship at the end of the year capping it off with their first ever. Now in Double AA wood, the Marlins look forward to the new challenges that come forth. The year of 2011 is all about heart, desire, and dedication, with that said it is the year of the MARLINS!!!
