Dawgs Swept in Season Opener

The Dawgs were swept by the Cranford Brewers Sunday to start the ABA season at Free Union Field. The Dawgs tied game one with RBI by Ian D.-W. and Mike Moore in the second inning. The Brewers took the lead for good in the sixth and went on to win 5-2. 

Dylan Harlos started the game for the Dawgs and struckout four over four innings while surrendering two unearned runs. Ben Howarth took the loss in the sixth inning. Ian D.-W. led the team with two of the team's 8 hits.

Ian D.-W. started game two for the Dawgs. He pitched eight innings and surrendered a walk-off single in the bottom of the eighth. Dylan led the team with two runs scored and Aaron Feldman led the team with two RBI.

The Dawgs will take on the Roxbury Expos at Free Union Field in Great Meadows on July 19.
