The Dawgs played to a 1-1 tie in 8 innings in game 1 in Great Meadows last week. The Dawgs scored their lone run in the 3rd inning on an RBI single by Smokey Mike Moore. Moore knocked in Gianni Marano who singled, advanced on a pickoff attempt, and stole 3rd. Tyler Coltelli started the game for the Dawgs. He pitched 4 innings, walked 4 and struckout 5, while surrendering 1 run on 2 hits.

The Dawgs got off to a hot start in game 2, scoring 5 runs in the first inning punctuated by a 2-run home run by Joe Wisniewski. Joe Wiz, Jeff Latawiec, and Brandon Neumann had multiple RBI in the win. Dylan Harlos started the game on the mound. He gave up 5 runs over 5 innings, walking 3 and striking out 8.
