Dawgs Walk-off with 5-run 7th Inning

Dawgs rally for 5 runs in the final frame


Gianni Morano picked up his first win as a Dawg thanks to a 5-run 7th inning at West Side Park.

The NJ Dawgs were able to salvage a double header in Newark after losing game 1 by winning game 2 in walk-off fashion. Down 8-4 in the bottom of the seventh, Ian D.-W. and Gianni Morano singled around at walk by Tyler Branham to load the bases for Dylan Harlos. Harlos doubled to right-center to score all three runners. Following a pop out and  a ground out, Joe Wisniewski singled home Harlos and stole second. Tyler Coltelli reached safely on a bobbled grounder to shortstop allowing Wiz to score the winning run.  Gianni Morano picked up the win in relief of starter Ian D.-W. Morano pitched the final 2 innings, striking out 3 and surrendering one hit. 

The Dawgs lost game 1 by a score of 6-3. Harlos started the game and gave up 4 earned runs over 5 innings, walked 5 and struckout 2, while surrendering 5 hits. Harlos and Grace each had RBI for the Dawgs in game 1.
