Grace and Coolyeti Light up the Box Score, Meyers Goes 7

In their last game before the playoffs, the NJ Dawgs improved to 17-7 at home at Free Union Field in Great Meadows. After falling behind 4-0, the Dawgs took the lead in the 3rd after a 3-run homer by Mike Grace and RBI single by Tyler Coolyeti.  Bert Tice and Ian D.-W. also added RBI in the inning to take a 6-4 lead.

The Dawgs never looked back and would go on to score 6 more runs in the 4th and 2 runs in the 5th to seal the win. Grace doubled his efforts with a second 3-run blast and Tyler Coolyeti would knock in another another 4 runs to complete an 8 for 8 day at the dish.

Matt Meyerkopf earned the win for the Dawgs, his first of the season. After being called on to rest their starters, the Dawgs' Single Meyers went all 7 innings giving up 6 runs to earn the win.
