The Dawgs could not get their bats going against the Perth Amboy Rebels in game one and lost 4-0 at Free Union Field.  John Minetti led the offense with two hits, including a double as the lone bright spot in the Dawgs lineup.

Minetti also pitched a gem on the mound but could not get the run support needed to get the win. He thew all seven innings. He allowed nine hits and four unearned runs with two walks and 11 strikeouts.
