Dawgs Outscore Jagerbombers 23-6 in Double Header

Dawgs end June on five-game winning streak

Harlos Earns Win in Dawgs Pitching Debut

The Dawgs high-powered offense was no match for the Denville Jagerbombers Sunday as the Dawgs swept the double header in Great Meadows.

Dylan Harlos earned the win in game one, his first start on the mound as a Dawg. Horas went 4 2/3 innings, striking out four and walking four while giving up six runs. Tyler Coolyeti earned his first save in securing the last seven outs.  Harlos also led the Dawgs in hits going three for four at the plate. Mike Grace provided plenty of power going two for four with a double and a homerun on his way to a four RBI game. John Minetti and Jeff Lataweic added two RBI each.

Minetti continued his dominance on the mound and picked up his fourth win of the season in game two. Minetti went five innings as the Dawgs won via the mercy rule 14-0. Minetti struck out seven and gave up two hits.

Harlos' hot streak at the plate continued in game two. He drove in five runs, hitting two triples and a double. Lataweic and Matt Sargent also had two RBI apiece in the victory.

The Dawgs finish June on a five-game winning streak and are 7-8 on the season. The Dawgs resume play July 8 at Free Union Field in Great Meadows against the Sussex Storm in a double header starting at 10:00am.
