Dawgs Combine for 33 runs in Double Header

The Dawgs swept the NY Elite Hitmen Sunday to cap off the regular season in Great Meadows. The Dawgs won game one 15-0. The Dawgs combined for 12 hits with Tyler Goff leading the offense with three hits, two of them doubles. Goff finished the regular season with a .455 batting average. Mike Grace also added his third home run of the year. Grace led the Dawgs during the regular season in home runs and RBI with 17. John Minetti  picked up his  win to finish the regular season leading the  the Dawgs in wins (5), innings pitched (45) and ERA (1.40).

The Dawgs added 18 runs in game two. Tyler Goff pitched five innings and struck out five batters. The Dawgs added six extra-base hits in the blowout. Dylan Harlos led the was with five total bases and three runs scored.

The Dawgs will enter the playoffs as the seven seed in the ABA Elite Wood American division. They'll play the Bloomfield Bombers at Wright's Field at 9:00am on Sunday.
